Tree Removal at the Practice – Saturday 2nd May 2026

We would like to let our patients know that two trees located at the front of the practice will be removed on Saturday 2nd May. The work is being carried out outside of normal opening hours to minimise any disruption to our services and to patient appointments. Why are the trees being removed? The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is continuing to investigate an outbreak of meningococcal disease in Kent with 13 cases notified since Friday 13th March 2026. The outbreak has primarily affected teenagers and university students linked to close-contact social settings. Officials have identified the strain as Meningitis B.
