*Starting October 2020 – watch this page for updates*
If you are eligible for a free flu vaccination, you will receive a letter or text invite to book in to one of our Pre-bookable Saturday clinics that are starting soon.
We do not yet know when the extra groups (that the government have announced back in July will be included in the flu vaccination programme this year) will be invited but currently expect this to be towards the end of December.
Please note there are a lot of changes in how we do these this year due to the coronavirus, for example you will have to book a time slot in one of our flu clinics rather then just showing up as done in previous years as well as maintain social distancing and wearing a face covering throughout your visit.
Carers are eligible for the free flu vaccination (as the welfare of the person they care for may be at risk if the carer falls ill). If there is someone you rely upon to care for you, we suggest they contact their own GP practice to ask for a free flu jab.
If you have an allergy to eggs or any other allergic reaction to a vaccine, or do not wish to receive the flu vaccine, then please let us know once you’ve received the 2020 invite.
