Free Summer Cycling Festival

Residents of all ages are invited to take part in a free summer Cycling Festival taking place at Ride on Cycling For All, Exeter Quayside, from Monday 4th August to Friday 8th August.

The festival is designed to help people who are unable to cycle or who have low confidence riding a bike. Whether you’re a complete beginner, looking to build your confidence, or wanting to cycle with your family, there’s something for everyone.

What’s On Offer?

  • Free cycle training for all ages, including family sessions
  • Dr Bike Safety Checks to ensure your bike is safe and roadworthy
  • Social rides to help build confidence while connecting with others
  • Friendly, supportive sessions led by experienced instructors

The festival aims to increase cycling confidence, improve physical activity and mental wellbeing, reduce health inequalities, strengthen social connections, and encourage greener, healthier travel across the community.

All activities are completely free, but spaces may be limited, so early booking is recommended.
