Do you know the signs of bowel cancer?

April is bowel cancer awareness month, and although we are nearly in May, it’s never too late to get familiar with the signs and symptoms of this disease, which can affect anyone no matter your age, race, or sex!

Bowel cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in the UK, rating fourth most common after breast, prostate and lung, however is the second most likely to cause death. Caught early it is completely curable – so don’t be embarrassed – get yourself checked!

Still unsure? Bowel cancer UK have produced a helpful symptom diary for you to fill in, which could be used in your GP consultation! Please use our e-consult or phone us to make a telephone appointment if you think you might have symptoms of bowel cancer, or to discuss your concerns. We are open and here for you despite the pandemic!
