Falls Prevention Workshop – Stay Safe, Confident & Independent

A new Falls Prevention Workshop is now available locally, offering practical support to help people remain safe, active, and independent.

Led by a Nexus PCN Occupational Therapist, these standalone sessions are designed to provide simple, effective guidance on reducing the risk of falls and improving overall wellbeing. Each one-time workshop includes practical advice, gentle exercises, and easy-to-follow strategies that can help improve balance, strength, and confidence in everyday life.

Participants will learn:

  • Simple exercises to support balance and strength
  • Practical ways to reduce the risk of falls
  • Tips for making the home environment safer
  • Advice on maintaining health, wellbeing, and independence

These sessions are welcoming, supporting, and suitable for all ability levels.

Workshop Details

  • Location: Age UK (Exeter), The Sycamores, Mount Pleasant Road, Exeter EX4 7AE
  • When: Held on the last Tuesday or Thursday of each month.
  • Booking Information: Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended. For further information, please enquire with the reception team at your GP practice.
