How will I know when I have been registered?

Our admin team will get in contact with you through the contact details you provide. In some cases they may need to contact you for more information. If you haven’t heard from us and would like to query the status of your registration, please call 01392 255722.

When can I receive medical treatment?

Medical treatment will only be available from the date of registration (the date your form is processed by our admin team). Please call 01392 255722 and speak to one of our receptionists for more information.

What if I am outside of the practice catchment area?

If you’re outside of our catchment area then you can still submit a registration with us to be an out of area patient. Your request to register as an out of area patient may be declined if any of the following criteria are met:

  • You are pregnant
  • You have children under 16 years of age
  • You have a severe mental illness
  • You need home visits or regular attendance at the GP practice
  • You need referral to or regular visits from local services, such as district nurses, social services or health visitors

If we feel that we cannot meet your health needs we may insist you register at another GP practice. Find more information about out of area registrations here.

Your Registered GP

Once you are registered as a patient you will be given a named GP and we will contact you (usually by text) to let you know their details.
Your named GP will be primarily responsible for your care, however, we operate as a triage first practice, so there may be certain circumstances when you will be offered an appointment with other clinicians as it may be more appropriate for your care.

Family Members

We will make every effort to register immediate family members with the same GP.

I’m already a patient but I don’t know who my GP is

If you are unsure who your GP is, then please click the blue button below to fill out an eConsult and submit it to our admin team.

Please note! On rare occasions we may require proof of identification (e.g. a passport or driving license) and proof of address to register you as a patient.
