What is Pharmacy First?
It may not always be necessary to have an appointment with your doctor, as your local pharmacist will often be the quickest way to get treatment and advice for a range of conditions. You can ask your local pharmacy about the ‘Pharmacy First’ scheme for help with several common conditions.
What are the seven common conditions?
- Sinusitis
- Sore throat
- Earache
- Infected insect bite
- Impetigo (a bacterial skin infection)
- Shingles
- Urinary tract infections in women.
