Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic we are no longer offering routine GP face-to-face appointments as we are trying to limit the number of people coming into the health centre. We are offering triage telephone appointments in the first instance and only then if absolutely necessary will a face-to-face appointment be given to you if the Doctor decides this is the best course of action.

Please do not come to the surgery if you have any viral symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath) even if you have an appointment (please call and cancel this or you will receive a did-not-attend message) if you have symptoms and require medical intervention you must call 111.



If you want to see/speak to a doctor you will need to call The Health Centre on 01392 255722 and if it is appropriate the receptionist will have a doctor call you back to discuss your problem with them. They then may offer you a video-consult or face to face appointment if needed.


You can use the E-consult service on the home page of our website – this will be processed and an appropriate response or follow up call from a doctor organised within 2 days.

We also advise signing up to the NHS app available on Android and IOS (apple) devices. This is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services. You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record, use the E-consult service and more, (see our dedicated NHS app page for more information).


We are limiting the amount of paper coming into the surgery so will not accept any paper prescription requests at reception or in our post boxes. You must either; call the surgery on 01392 255722 and use the automated telephone service (option 1), use the contact us page on our website, use the E-consult Service or if you are having problems with using these services we are currently taking prescription requests over the phone so can speak directly to a receptionist.
