Face coverings now required or you may be refused entry

As lockdown begins to ease it is important to remember that coronavirus is still prevalent within the community. We of course ask that patients continue to use our online resources like eConsult in the first instance and call when needed but we are inevitably starting to see more and more patients. We now require all to wear face coverings or masks when attending the surgery and only remove them if instructed to by staff. Despite the ongoing pandemic the Friends of Mount Pleasant Charity have been hard at work throughout. Delivering prescriptions to shielding patients, helping in the community and continuing with their vital work where they can. Our practice is supporting vital COVID-19 research. As part of this, we are helping to carry out a national priority research study called PRINCIPLE. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, are aged 65 or over, OR are aged 50-64 and have an existing health condition, you may be eligible to join this important study. Boots Mount Pleasant Opening Times

Please note that from today the Boots Pharmacy next door to Mount Pleasant Health Centre will be changing their opening times. Prescriptions will also start to take up to 5 working days to process from initial request as they are inundated with new requests and their workload has significantly increased since the Coronavirus pandemic began.
